On sunshine days the environment is lit up, overlooked by a jutting glass roof. Welcoming customers, a wide salon in ochre hues and two smaller rooms un furnished with elegance and care for detail, ideal to taste a light lunch away from city chaos.
The evening offers the pleasure of savouring refined dishes, under the warmth of enveloping lights a few steps away form the Naviglio Grande.
This is the restaurant Industria, in via Bugatti 13 in Milan, within the complex by the same name behind the Porta Genova station, a charming area where a special atmosphere is palpable.
Among tasty offers: starters from regional cuisines (“music paper” with sheep ricotta and tuna botargo, Langhirano cooked ham and fried herbs, candied small tomatoes with mozzarella) and tasty dishes that combine flavours with imagination like with white pastry ravioli with potatoes and apples, linguine with oranges, tune botargo and pine seeds, dried cod carpaccio with potato pie.
And to finish off... sweetly, almond pudding with strawberry sauce, cannoli with sheep ricotta and orange marmalade, bread cake and apples with vanilla sauce. Preserves, capers and the oil are from the Monastero farm in Pantelleria.
The wine list offers selected bottles, gathered in a visible corner. The Industria restaurant is open on Mondays from 9 to 6 pm. Tuesday to Saturday from 9 to 2 am. The kitchen has the following operating times: 12.30 – 2.30 pm and 8 – 10.30 pm. In the other hours the bar area can be used.
